Who we are and how we work
Riverbank Adelaide is a small editorial team writing about one hotel on Adelaide’s Riverbank. We started in 2026, we work from published sources, and we say so when we do not know.
We chose to write about Eos by SkyCity because its address ties together the parts of Adelaide we care most about: the festivals around the Festival Centre, the food on North Terrace and in the precinct, and the walk to Adelaide Oval. One hotel, covered in depth, seemed more useful than another list of fifty.
How we research
Every fact on this site comes from a page we read ourselves: the hotel’s pages on skycityadelaide.com.au and its October 2026 booking terms, SkyCity’s market releases, event organisers’ websites, Adelaide Metro, Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Oval, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Botanic Garden, the Central Market and the South Australian government’s gambling harm support service. Historical background about the railway station building comes from Wikipedia, which we treat as a secondary source and label as such. Our working file lists the source for every fact.
We date everything
Hours, prices and event dates carry the date we read them, usually 1 November 2026.
We say when a source is silent
Casino hours, airport travel times and self-parking rates are not published by the hotel, so we do not invent them.
We flag contradictions
Where two official pages disagree — breakfast hours, the number of restaurants, smoking rules — we show both.
What we are not
We are not the hotel and not SkyCity, and we are not affiliated with either. We have not been paid for coverage. We do not publish guest reviews of our own, because we cannot verify them, and our images are illustrations rather than photographs of the hotel.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, write to hello@riverbankadelaide.com with the page and, if you can, the source. We fix errors and note the change date on the page.
How we are funded
Through booking commission only, described on our earnings page.
