Radiance River View suites: the river side of the house

North-facing suites of 94 to 129 square metres, with a king bed, an expansive separate living room, a six-seat dining table and the river below the windows.

If our guide has a favourite room, it is this one, for the simple reason that the whole idea of staying at Eos is the Riverbank. The hotel describes the Radiance River View suite as a north-facing hideaway on a generous footprint, with a king bed and views overlooking the shimmer of the riverside. Sizes range from 94 to 129 square metres.

Why north matters here

From Festival Drive, north is the Torrens, the parkland of Elder Park and the footbridge, and beyond them the area around Adelaide Oval. A north-facing room in the southern hemisphere also takes the sun for most of the day. In the summer festival season that means a bright living room by afternoon and, across the water, the direction of Adelaide Oval.

Inside

Living space

An expansive separate lounge and a six-seat dining table — two more seats than the Oasis suite.

Bedroom

King bed, the pillow menu and the in-room tablet controlling light and temperature.

Bathroom

Spacious, with considered luxury amenities, bathrobes and the Cloud Nine styling tools.

Mini-bar

A selected complimentary mini-bar with local artisan produce, as in all suites.

Screen

A 65-inch 4K television, handy when the cricket is on and you would rather watch from the room.

Access

Rooftop bar and restaurant, pool, gym and spa, 24-hour support and itineraries from the concierge.

When to book it

We think of the Radiance suite as the celebration room: a birthday during the Fringe, an anniversary weekend, or a group of four friends who want to gather for a drink before heading to SOL on Level 9. With a six-seat table you can host. It is also the suite we would choose for a December Test match, when the river side of the building faces across the water towards the Oval.

Practical details

The suite falls in the same bond and fee band as the Oasis suite under the hotel’s booking terms: a $900 cash bond if you arrive without a credit card and a $1,000 cleaning fee for smoking in the suite or on a balcony. The 3pm check-in and 11am check-out apply. The hotel does not publish rates on the suite page, and festival weeks fill early, so if you have a date in mind, send it to our desk with the form below and we will tell you what is open.

Not sure the extra space is worth it? Compare it with the Oasis suite and the Allure River View rooms, or read our view guide.

Ask our desk to hold a room at Eos

Tell us your dates and the room you have in mind. Our booking desk checks availability and the current rate with the hotel or its booking partner and replies by email. We never ask for card details, and a request is not a booking until you accept the confirmed offer. We are paid a commission by the hotel or booking partner only when a request turns into a confirmed stay — how that works.

Thank you — the request is with our desk. Expect an email reply; nothing is booked or charged until you accept an offer.
