This site and the hotel
Accessibility
Two separate things: how we built this website so that it works for as many people as possible, and what we could and could not find about access at the hotel.
This website
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means text with strong contrast against the background, a skip link to the main content, a heading structure that follows the page, descriptive alternative text on every illustration, a navigation menu that works with a keyboard, and a request form in which every field has a visible label. The site does not depend on scripts for reading; the form also works without JavaScript. Pages are laid out to fit a narrow phone screen without sideways scrolling.
If something does not work for you, write to hello@riverbankadelaide.com with the page and what happened. We will fix what we can and reply.
At the hotel
The Eos pages we read on 1 November 2026 describe room sizes, bed types and facilities, but do not set out accessible room layouts, roll-in showers or hearing aids for rooms. We would rather say that plainly than guess. If you need an accessible room, write your requirements in the notes of the request form; we will ask the hotel specifically and pass on its answer word for word, and you can also contact the hotel directly on (08) 7077 3588.
Getting in
Valet arrival is at the Eos driveway on Festival Drive. From the car park, lifts run from levels B3–B5 to the Eos hotel concourse.
Moving around
Walkers from North Terrace use Station Road and lifts down to the hotel concourse; the events floor on Level 2 is reached by lift.
Families with infants
The hotel lends Stokke high chairs, BabyBjorn bouncers and other items on request.
Around the city
Adelaide Metro publishes access and disability information for its buses, trains and trams, and Adelaide Airport has an accessibility section on its site. The Art Gallery of South Australia lends wheelchairs free of charge and lists accessible parking nearby. Adelaide Oval keeps an access information page for event days.
