Allure rooms: the signature category

The hotel calls the Allure room its signature room. It runs across every floor, measures 40 to 57 square metres and comes in five versions that change the bed layout and the view.

The Allure room is the first entry on the hotel’s room list, and the category is broader than its single name suggests. The hotel page describes a generous layout in either king or twin-queen configuration, with views across the city, the hills or the “shimmering riverside”, a spacious bathroom with bathrobes, and the in-room tablet that runs the room’s technology.

The five versions

Allure King Room

One king bed. The outlook is not tied to the river, so expect city or hills unless your booking says otherwise.

Allure Twin Room

Two queen beds — the hotel writes “twin-queen” — which suits two friends or a parent with an older child.

Allure River View King Room

A king room on the river side of the building. This is the one to ask for if you want the Torrens outside your window.

Allure River View with Balcony

The river outlook plus a balcony. The hotel’s terms ban smoking on balconies, with a cleaning fee if the rule is broken.

Allure Two Bedroom

Listed by the hotel as part of the Allure collection. The page does not give its size separately, so ask for the floor plan or use the 360 tour.

Which one is yours

Your confirmation names the sub-category. If the view matters, check that wording before you pay, not after you arrive.

What is in the room

The Allure page lists access to the rooftop bar and restaurant, the pool, gym and spa, the luxury spa and wellness centre, 24-hour support and curated itineraries. The complimentary mini-bar selection is described only for the suites; in an Allure room, plan on paying for what you take, and check the in-room price list.

Our take

For a two-night festival visit, an Allure room is all most couples need. At 40 to 57 square metres it is a good size for a city-centre room, and you will spend most of your waking hours at shows, at dinner or on the Leisure Deck anyway. The decision that changes your stay is the view. If you are here for the river and the Oval lights, pay for one of the River View versions; if you are here for a conference, a city-facing king does the job.

Two packages on the hotel’s site were built around this category when we checked: the Bed & Breakfast Experience and Ever After Eos both use a one-night Allure room. Details are on our packages page.

Practical details for Allure guests

Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is before 11am. The hotel takes a $200 pre-authorisation on arrival for every room type to cover incidentals. If you arrive without a credit card, the booking terms ask for full payment plus a $500 cash bond for an Allure room. Smoking in the room or on the balcony carries a $500 cleaning fee under the same terms. You can store bags with the concierge before check-in and after check-out at no charge.

Ask our desk to hold a room at Eos

Tell us your dates and the room you have in mind. Our booking desk checks availability and the current rate with the hotel or its booking partner and replies by email. We never ask for card details, and a request is not a booking until you accept the confirmed offer. We are paid a commission by the hotel or booking partner only when a request turns into a confirmed stay — how that works.

Thank you — the request is with our desk. Expect an email reply; nothing is booked or charged until you accept an offer.
