Hotel Level 1
Level 1: the pool deck, the spa and a gym that never shuts
Eos keeps its wellness floor on Hotel Level 1: a heated outdoor pool and warm spa pool on the Leisure Deck facing the River Torrens, BODHI Spa, a cedarwood sauna, a eucalyptus steam room and a gym open 24 hours.

If you only remember one thing about Eos beyond its address, make it Level 1. The hotel describes a resort-style floor in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, and an outdoor pool facing the river is a fine thing to come back to in an Adelaide February.
The Leisure Deck
The heated outdoor swimming pool and the warm spa pool sit outside on the Leisure Deck, with what the hotel calls sweeping views across the River Torrens. A food and drink menu is served poolside through the day, built on seasonal South Australian produce. The deck is open from 5am to 10pm every day, and access is complimentary for Eos hotel guests. In 2021 the pool won three Swimming Pool and Spa Association awards, including the national award for a commercial pool up to $1 million.
Open early
5am opening means a swim before an early flight or a conference start; 10pm closing allows a late dip after a show.
Heated
The hotel describes the outdoor pool as heated, which matters in Adelaide’s cooler months as much as summer.
Food on the deck
An extensive food and beverage menu is offered poolside through the day, so lunch can happen on a lounger.
Indoors on the same floor
Back inside are a cedarwood dry-heat sauna, a eucalyptus wet steam room, the gymnasium and the change rooms. The hotel’s guest page says the gym is open 24 hours a day. If you would rather have company, the hotel offers a personal trainer as one of its signature experiences: sessions can be anything from a run along the River Torrens to a high-intensity workout to shake off jet lag, or stretching in your room.
BODHI Spa at Eos
The spa on Level 1 is run by BODHI, which the hotel introduces as Australia’s leading luxury wellness group. BODHI’s approach, in its own words, embraces “mind, body and soul, rather than merely the skin”. The spa adjoins the gym, change rooms, sauna, steam room, warm spa pool, swimming pool and a quiet relaxation lounge.

How we would use the floor
- Arrive mid-afternoon, drop bags with the concierge if the room is not ready, and spend the wait on the Leisure Deck.
- On a festival morning, swim at seven before the city warms up, then take breakfast at iTL.
- Book a treatment for the late afternoon of your last full day, and leave time for the steam room first.
- After a long Oval day, the 10pm closing gives you an hour in the spa pool on the way back.
Packages that include the floor
The hotel’s Beyond the Stay and The Art Escape packages both name access to the Leisure Deck, BODHI Spa at Eos, the heated outdoor pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room among their inclusions. Since the deck is complimentary for all hotel guests anyway, treat that as a reminder rather than a bonus. See the packages page.
Questions about children on the deck, towels or opening hours on public holidays are best put to the hotel; we answer what the published pages cover on the questions page.
