Dining around Eos: eleven rooms, one building
SkyCity lists eleven places to eat and drink in the precinct that Eos shares. We sorted them by the kind of evening they suit and copied the trading hours exactly as published on 1 November 2026.

Food is half the reason we built this guide. Adelaide likes to eat early and well, and the SkyCity precinct packs an unusual range of kitchens into the old railway station and the new building beside it. The hotel’s guest page talks about “10 bars and restaurants”, the dining index lists eleven venues and one package page mentions nine signature restaurants; we have listed every venue named on the dining index so you can count for yourself.
Opening hours change for public holidays, long weekends and events. SkyCity itself recommends advance reservations. Treat the hours below as the published pattern, then check the venue page or ask our desk to confirm when you request a room.
For a long dinner
The Kitchen
Steak and seafood “grounded in South Australia’s exceptional produce”. The venue says it is one of three in the state serving 2GR full-blood wagyu, cooked over a firepit, and its raw plate includes Coffin Bay oysters. Entered from Station Road and North Terrace. Tuesday to Thursday 5pm–8.30pm, Friday and Saturday 5pm–9.30pm.
Huami
A premium Chinese dining room on Level 1. Dinner Thursday to Sunday 5pm–10pm, yum cha at weekends from 12pm to 3pm, and a private dining space for up to 24. Groups of six or more book through a request form.
Madame Hanoi
Modern South-East Asian food with influences “from Laos to Singapore”, banquet menus and a cocktail list, on the North Terrace side. Dinner Tuesday to Thursday 5pm–8.30pm and Friday to Saturday 5pm–9.30pm, with a pre-theatre option.
For something easy
iTL
Contemporary Italian on the ground floor, spilling out onto Festival Plaza. Dough rests for 60 hours before it meets the oven; pasta is made fresh. Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It is also where hotel breakfast is served — see our breakfast page.
The Guardsman
A South Australian pub-style bar and kitchen inside the railway station on North Terrace. Café Monday to Friday 7am–2pm, lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday 12pm–8pm, and open before and after games on match days.
Central Café
An all-day café of about 150 seats next to the main gaming floor, serving burgers, schnitzels, salads, roasts and barista coffee. Walk-in only. Kitchen meals from 11am; late closing on Friday and Saturday nights.
For a drink, a view or a band
SOL Rooftop
Level 9, small plates, wine and cocktails, with a three-glass rating in the 2024 Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards. Wednesday and Thursday 2pm–10pm, Friday 2pm–1am, Saturday 11am–1am, Sunday 12pm–10pm. Our SOL page has more.
Westward
A cocktail bar looking across the River Torrens towards Adelaide Oval, with live music on Friday and Saturday nights and food from 5.30pm to 9pm on those nights. Open Friday and Saturday from 4pm, plus game days and major events.
The District
A sports bar, a Pirate Life brewery brewing on a 500-litre kit — SkyCity says it is the first fully working brewery inside an Australian casino — and a 450-capacity live entertainment room on Level 1. The venue’s web page asks visitors to confirm they are 18+.
Inside the casino building
Three venues are listed in or beside the gaming areas, and the 18+ rule for gaming areas applies wherever they sit inside them. Chandelier Bar is in the Marble Hall of the old station building, under a chandelier of more than 2,000 glass bubbles hand-blown in Italy; it is walk-in only and trades late, from 11am until 4am Sunday to Wednesday and until 5am Thursday to Saturday. Xpress, a casual Eastern and Western menu with pastas, noodles and rice, is listed on the main gaming floor and opens Thursday 5.30pm–11pm and Friday and Saturday 5.30pm–1am. Central Café, described above, sits next to the main gaming floor. If you are travelling with anyone under 18, eat at the venues outside the gaming areas, which SkyCity says cater for all ages.
How we would plan three nights
- Night one, arriving late: an easy pizza at iTL, then up to SOL for one drink on Level 9 if it is a Friday or Saturday.
- Night two, the show: a pre-theatre dinner at Madame Hanoi or The Kitchen, both of which list pre-show menus, then a short walk to the Festival Centre.
- Night three, the long one: yum cha at Huami at the weekend for lunch, a river walk in the afternoon, and dinner at The Kitchen or a band at Westward.
For drinks with a game, The District and Westward are the obvious stops; for a quiet nightcap, Chandelier Bar keeps the latest hours in the building.
Paying with dining credit
The hotel’s Beyond the Stay package, listed for stays from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, includes $150 of dining credit for two nights or $250 for three, usable across SkyCity restaurants, bars and Eos in-room dining. If you plan to eat in the precinct most nights, it is worth comparing that package against a room-only rate; our packages page has the details as published.
