Mornings on the plaza
Breakfast at iTL, on Festival Plaza
Eos does not have a breakfast room of its own. Hotel breakfast is served at iTL, the Italian kitchen on the ground floor of SkyCity Adelaide, which opens onto Festival Plaza.

The hotel’s guest information page puts it plainly: breakfast is available at iTL each morning from 7:00am to 10:30am, at additional cost unless your rate includes it. The restaurant’s own page lists breakfast every day from 7:00am to 11:30am. We quote the hotel’s hours for hotel breakfast because those are the hours the hotel commits to for guests; if you want a later start, ask the restaurant.
What iTL is
iTL calls itself uncomplicated, contemporary Italian. It is on the ground floor of SkyCity Adelaide and “sprawling out to the festival plaza”, so you can watch the plaza wake up while you eat. The kitchen uses seasonal local ingredients, makes its pizza dough in house and matures it for 60 hours, and makes its pasta fresh. Lunch runs every day from 12pm to 2.30pm; dinner from 5pm to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant’s phone number is (08) 7077 3948.
Breakfast in a package
Bed & Breakfast Experience
One night in an Allure room with breakfast for two at iTL: any one menu item with two add-ons and two drinks each, chosen from barista coffee, tea or cold-pressed juice. Listed for stays until 31 December 2026.
Ever After Eos
One night in an Allure room with Champagne, half a dozen red roses, breakfast for two at iTL and a 12pm late check-out, subject to availability. Listed for stays until 31 December 2026.
The Grace Villa
The villa includes breakfast at iTL for up to four guests every morning of the stay, according to the villa page.
Both one-night packages say their breakfast cannot be redeemed against Eos in-room dining breakfast. If you would rather eat in your robe, book in-room dining separately and leave the package breakfast for the second morning, or choose a room-only rate.
Breakfast in the room
The hotel offers in-room dining — the Wotif Uniquely Aussie Awards named Eos Best Hotel Room Service in 2023 — and the in-room tablet replaces the old paper compendium. The published pages do not print an in-room breakfast menu or hours, so look on the tablet when you arrive. On the Leisure Deck, the hotel says a food and beverage menu is available poolside through the day.
Our morning, if you want one
We would take breakfast at iTL around eight, when the plaza is still quiet, then cross to North Terrace for the gallery at ten, when the Art Gallery of South Australia opens. On a Saturday, swap the gallery for the Adelaide Central Market, which opens at 7am on Saturdays and closes at 3pm; it is a walk or a short tram ride south through the city and is the best place in the city to understand what “South Australian produce” on every menu here actually means. Our 48-hour plan fits both into one weekend.
